Gypsy Canyon is the perfect place to host a special retreat or gathering. Our off-the-beaten path location allows you and your guests to connect with the dazzling natural beauty of the Baja wilderness, while our proximity to town provides a number of services and activities. 

Our years of traveling and hosting have given us unique insight into the minds of our guests. In order to attract a wider variety of hosts and retreats, we've put together customizable packages to simplify the planning process.

Our detailed retreat form below makes it easy for you to customize dates, options, meals, transportation and activities. We handle all logistics, guest coordination, payment and more so you can focus on what's important.

By default each guest is charged a nightly rate that includes three meals a day.
Your base rate includes locally sourced, fresh vegan and vegetarian meals. For more robust offerings including fish, meats, rich sauces, cheeses and gourmet ingredients simply toggle the desired option in your request form.

Nightly rates begin at $250 per night and decrease with stays longer than 6 nights.

In addition to your base rate, you can choose to add on excursions and activities. We work exclusively with the top providers in the area to bring your guests the best experience possible. All activities include transportation in a private air conditioned van. Some of our most popular activities include:

  • Yoga Classes: Schedule classes with some of our incredibly talented bilingual yoga instructors. Our teachers have over 20 years of combined experience teaching a variety of different yoga and meditation sessions. From vigorous asana flows to restorative workshops, we can serve your guests with classes that accommodate the unique needs of your group. Times may vary.

  • Surf Classes: Learn how to surf or enjoy a few sessions with experienced, bilingual guides. Begin the day early with a ride to our local surfing beach.Arrive to find umbrellas and beach chairs set up for your comfort so you can have plenty of breaks and relaxation for non-surfers in the group. Learn the basics or jump in right away. Our surf instructors are ready with hands-on support and guidance to make sure your guests enjoy the day. In addition to boards & rash guards, your guests will have access to boogie boards and beach games to keep everyone entertained. 7am-1pm

  • Private Beach Day: Enjoy a day with your friends and fellow travelers on a secluded beach. Arrive to find your beach site ready with towels, sarapes, umbrellas, sunscreen, beach games and more. Snacks, drinks and lunch will be provided. If the tides are calm, take a swim in the refreshing waters of the pacific ocean. 10am-3:30pm

  • Old Port Hike: Treat your guests to a breathtaking hike across scenic cliffs to arrive at an abandoned Spanish port. Look out across the sparkling seas and maybe spot a few whales jump. 9:30am-11:30am

  • Hike to Private Beach Day: Begin with the Old Port Hike and continue on to arrive at the private beach. This is a perfect option for a full day activity that combines mild exercise with a relaxing day at the beach. 9:30am-3:30pm

  • Kayak & SUP in Balandra Bay: Spend a day playing in a beautiful secluded bay. Splash and swim in shallow, sparkling waters or try out a kayak or Stand Up Paddleboard. Note: with advanced notice we can secure enough SUPs for you to teach an SUP yoga class. 9:00am-5:00pm

  • Day trip to the Island Espiritu Santo: Boat ride to explore this beautiful, remote Island just off the coast of La Paz in the Sea of Cortez. Swim with Sea Lions, snorkel, and explore. Includes: boat ride, guide, food, drinks, snorkel gear, permits for the national park, shade. 7:00am-6:00pm

  • Swim with Whale Sharks & Sea Lions: Embark on a snorkeling vessel to explore the Sea of Cortez. Swim with majestic whale sharks, sea lions and coral fish. This trip comes with an experienced guide and captain, boat with shade, snorkeling gear and wet suits, and an amazing lunch at Playa de Balandra. 7:00am-6:00pm

  • See the town of Todos Santos: Ride into town and explore the galleries, coffee shops and historic streets that make our town so alluring. 10:00am-1:00pm

  • Restaurant Outing: Having sunset drinks and sushi at the Green Room, overlooking the ocean with your toes in the sand. Dine on sumptuous continental fare at a farm-to-table restaurant surrounded by live gardens and lush palms. We have amazing restaurants in Todos Santos so get offsite and treat your guests to the best.

  • Beach Club: Visit a local beach club and enjoy the infinity pool and swim up bar overlooking the ocean. Take a walk on the beach or enjoy fresh seafood while basking in the sun. 10:00am-3:00pm

  • Cooking Classes: Choose a meal for your guests to learn. Learn to prepare a traditional mole, handmade tortillas or chilaquiles. Our chefs can teach mexican specialties and continental favorites. Are you incorporating a cleanse in your retreat? Your guests will learn how to prepare wholesome raw food and vegan snacks. 5:00pm-7:00pm

  • Mezcal Tastings: Learn about the art of mezcal distillation. Taste spirits from small indigenous producers in Guerrero, Mexico that you cannot find in the US. 4:00PM-6:00PM

  • Shamanic Welcome Ceremony: Welcome your guests and create sacred space with a shamanic ceremony. Our local shaman will perform an energy cleansing ritual around the fire, including sacred herbs and plants. A very special way to begin any retreat, we highly encourage hosts to consider this mystical experience. 5:30PM-6:30PM

  • Massages: Treat your guests to the ultimate pampering with massages on site. Our dedicated massage therapists will set up tables in a private palapa and sooth sore muscles from the week’s activities. Times may vary
